Support Worker - Day Staff

Experienced Day Staff Support Worker/Youth Worker is required to support a physically disabled young people within a college environment, based in Alton.

You will be required to support these young children with their personal care, therapy, medical support.
Experience working with young people with physical and learning difficulties, challenging behaviour, complex needs, personal care and encouraging independence


Day Shift: 12:30pm - 22:00pm (Monday - Sunday)

Responsibilities for you as the Support worker:
, Supporting young people with, personal hygiene, good behaviours, medical support, therapy
, Working closely with young people, staff, families, and other relevant professionals
, Following young people care plans
, Consistently promoting independence to service users


Requirements for you as the Support Worker:
, Enhanced DBS Child & Adult on the update service essential
, Experience working in a college supporting physically disabled young people
, Encouraging and supportive attitude
, NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care desirable


Location - Alton
Salary:
£9.00 + per hour + sleep in rate PAYE
£12.00 + per hour + sleep-in Rate Umbrella
