Registered Mental Health Nurse

I have teamed up with Elysium Healthcare and am on the hunt for experienced RMN's and RNLD's.


Where you will be working and shift patterns


Location: Farmfield Drive, Charlwood, Surrey, RH6 0BN


You will be working at Farmfield Hospital, which is a large medium-secure service with good facilities.

As an Interim Nurse, you will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will provide care and support for adult men 18+ with a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues and behaviours that challenge.


This position is a temporary contract and you will be booked for 3 months at a time.

Full time hours for a solid 3 months!! This can be further extended for another 3 months dependent on how you perform in the initial 3 months.


You will be required to commit to 37.5 hours a week, and to work on a rotational basis to cover long days and nights.



Long Days


07:30 - 20:30


1.5 hrs break (unpaid)



Waking Nights


19:30 - 20:00


1.5 hrs break (unpaid)

We are looking for Registered Nurses with the following qualifications, skills, and experience:



  • RMN or RNLD qualified - 1+ year minimum experience

  • Previous experience working in secure forensic settings / acute mental health

  • Hold a PMAV Certificate (5-day course).

    Must have certificate of completion on hand

  • Hold an ILS (Immediate Life Support) certificate



What your main responsibilities will be:



  • Administrate medication

  • Report to the Ward Manager / Site Coordinator

  • Completing detailed Care Plans

  • Attending handovers

  • Keeping up with the daily needs for the residents

  • Able to keep up with covering 2 acute wards when required



Pay Rates on Offer


£23.50 - £24.00 p/h


Pay rates will be dependent on your experience, what skills you can offer to the service, and your interview with the client.
