Contracts and Partnerships Specialist

We are currently looking for a Contracts and Partnerships Specialist to join a leading biopharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area.

As the Contracts and Partnerships Specialist you will collaborate with external parties, acting as a point of contact for grant awarding bodies to monitor contracts and track obligations.



KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Contracts and Partnerships Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1.

You will work closely with the scientific teams, advising on IP and commercial sensitivities with regards to contracts, liaising internally with the IP and legal teams for support.



2.

As the Contracts and Partnerships Specialist , you will lead and drive negotiations with external partners, ensuring that contracts are executed in a timely fashion.



3.

You will lead the implementation of contracts related to a wide range of external research collaboration network.



4.

In your role as the Contracts and Partnerships Specialist, you will work closely with colleagues in various departments, including Research, Intellectual Property, Compliance, Finance and the Legal team.



ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Contracts and Partnerships Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1.

Relevant degree in a scientific subject / having a scientific background would be beneficial but not essential.



2.

Proven industry experience with negotiating contracts with academic and commercial entities.



3.

A working knowledge and practical experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry, focussing on IP, licensing, confidentiality and liabilities.
