Administrator


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Administrator within the IT department, this newly created role has been derived due to the success of the business and its expansion.

Working within a team of 5, you will be managing all the administration for the department and co-ordinating for the team.


Job Description:



  • Producing reports for the IT Manager

  • Organising the diaries and workload for the engineers and the Manager

  • Creating forms and scanning documents, keeping information up to date

  • Answering the department telephone and taking details for 1st line helpdesk and logging the tickets and assigning to engineers

  • Dealing with purchasing and suppliers for IT equipment and keeping a log

  • Responsible for maintaining a register of all equipment and what goes out and what is returned

  • Managing licences for IT products and keeping a log of when due for renewal


Candidate Requirements:



  • Confident person who can work using their own initiative

  • An organised person who has an eye for detail

  • Someone who wants to learn and develop

  • Ideally someone who has their own transport (you may need to travel a little in the role to another local site)

  • Microsoft Office and Excel - must be able to use these


Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm


Salary: £17,000 per annum
