Senior Admin - Asset Servicing

Job Description:


Are you a Senior Administrator with a proven asset servicing experience looking for your next career move? Core-Asset's client, a global leading banking firm is looking for a Senior Administrator to join their Middle Office Asset Servicing team based in Glasgow.


You will be instrumental in providing checking and oversight support to the team and will play a key role in ensuring client service delivery and commitments are met.


The ideal candidate will have a proven checking and oversight experience.


Essential Skills/Experience:



  • Proven experience within an oversight/validation role

  • Familiarity with Corporate Actions/Income

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build professional relationships

  • High accuracy and attention to details skills

  • Strong Risk Awareness and Risk Management experience


Core Responsibilities:



  • Ensure a high-quality client service is delivered to all clients in adherence to the client service delivery agreements

  • Build strong, professional relationships with clients and develop internal stakeholder relationships with the wider team

  • Generate ideas for improvements to systems and processes in support of client requirements and organisations strategic objectives

  • Involvement in the design and implementation of resilient processes and systems to support new/changes to business products including mandatory changes to market/governance and regulations

  • Ensure adherence to the risk and control framework to manage risk effectively & efficiently within the team

  • Ensure an effective and robust governance structure is in place for the team

  • Ensure adequate internal controls are in place to mitigate operational risk

  • Ensure that internal and external audit/compliance/risk requirements are met

  • Provide feedback on staff within the team to support their technical and personal development
