Job description:

Are you a qualified lawyer with a commercial contract background and seeking a new in-house position within Edinburgh's financial services sector?

If so, we're recruiting for a 1 year fixed term contract position which could offer you just that.


  • Qualified lawyer

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Ability to work with different types of people and working style

  • Financial services experience is desirable but not essential

Core responsibilities:

  • Drafting, review and amendment of legal agreements with service providers and suppliers

  • Provide legal and technical advice on commercial matters in a risk aware, solution focused, commercial way minimising the need for external legal advice.

  • Carry out research activities

  • Participate in project activities

  • Build and maintain relations with key stakeholders within the firm and outside, including external counsel
