Purchasing Administrator

A fantastic opportunity for a Purchasing Administrator has arisen to work for a well-established and progressive local business.

Job Description:

  • As the Purchasing Administrator you will be supporting the Buyer with various procurement activities including raising and managing purchase orders and producing various purchasing support

  • You will be liaising with suppliers, agents, both within the UK and overseas regarding purchasing requirements and costing out products

  • As the Purchasing Administrator you will be chasing product samples and tracking customer orders

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a purchasing/procurement/buying role would be highly advantageous

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport

  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Good Numeracy Skills

  • Computer Literate (Microsoft Office skills)

  • Able to work as part of a team or on own initiative, as required

This role would suit people who also have the following experience: purchasing admin, procurement, buying, sales administration, expediting orders.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Salary: £18,000 - £19,000 per annum
