Network Support Engineer - 2nd Tier

Within this role, you'll take responsibility for the provision of technical support in relation to support tickets received from 1st and 2nd line engineers and will serve as the first point of contact for complex support enquiries received by phone, email or web portal.


You'll also manage router configurations, provide remote router management, carry out a data centre tasks (remotely), and assist in the deployment and management of customer network solutions (including working on some very large-scale projects).


Experience Required:



  • Cisco and / or Juniper qualifications (or equivalent experience).

    You're going to need to be working at CCNA / JNCIA level as a minimum.

  • Experience with Cisco ASA or Fortinet Firewalls would be beneficial.

  • Experience with SD-WAN technologies would be beneficial.

  • Customer service / previous helpdesk experience required

  • Ideally you will also have experience working on a Service Provider core network.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), a must.
