Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Days)
The successful candidate will be responsible for:-
Maintaining plant and equipment.
Working as part of a team and working alone.
Utilising their own initiative to solve problems.
PPM work as detailed in work orders.
Recording any completed work orders and returning them to their supervisor in a timely manner.
Observing Health & Safety of themselves & colleagues at all times is a must.
Maintaining high standards 00and ensuring a tidy workplace after work completion.
Fast and efficient work completion.
To promote continuous improvement work.
Candidates must be computer literate and possess:-
Five years or more experience in a maintenance environment is preferable.
Qualified to City & Guilds standard within a time served Mechanical Apprenticeship, with an understanding of basic electrical principles and be able to carry out basic electrical duties confidently and effectively.
Able to follow engineering drawings and instructions.
The ability to communicate effectively and constructively with other members of the team.
