Temporary Pay Rate Band 5:
, Days: £19.50ph
, Nights & Saturdays: £23ph
, Sundays & Bank Holidays: £29ph

Hours and length of contract:
, Full time or Part Time Flexible Shifts 37.5 hours
o Early: 07:30 to 15:30
o Late: 13:30 to 21:30
o Night: 21:00 to 08:00
, Initial 3 month contract (with likelihood of extension)
, The manager requires the position to be filled ASAP

Daily Duties:
The Service is a mental health inpatient ward for service users experiencing acute mental health disorders including depression, bipolar, psychosis and dementia and service users usually stay for 1-4 weeks.

The wards are 16-21 beds and provide a ‘low stimulus environment' and you will work as part of the nursing team to support service users who have been referred from the West Suffolk Home Treatment Team.

You will work closely with patients to determine the best treatment based on risk reduction and assessment with regular reviews, supporting them through the journey to return back to the community.



There is a handover of care between each shift to ensure care packages are maintained and each patient's presentation, risk, daily activity, progress and needs are shared with the whole team.



Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team, team working skills are essential.

Person specification:
The applicant must be DBS cleared for all positions advertised and have previous experience in the field.
