Sonographer - Maida Vale, London (Community Based)

Salary: £32,000-£36,000

Shifts: 8am - 8pm (Covering Weekends & Bank Holidays)

The Company

Our Client is community driven and well-established within the healthcare industry.

They are looking for a Sonographer to join their expanding team.

My client revolutionises the healthcare industry in London by bringing new service to your door with at-home diagnostics.

The Role

The Ideal Candidate will provide skilled, high ultrasound services to patients in locations of their choice, by using the latest digital tools provided.

Ensuring seamless and high-quality services provision between doctors, patients and other members of the MDT.

My client is looking for an experienced Sonographer with continuous experience working in a clinical ultrasound department.

Your experience will include performing and reporting abdominal, obstetrics, gynaecology, TV and Doppler examinations.

Musculoskeletal experience.

Paediatric scanning.

Interventional procedures.

Experience in ultrasound of carotid and sonovenogram examinations or other vascular procedures.

Role Responsibilities:

* You will have clinical experience to perform a range of scans and report on images whose acquisition is operator dependent, accurately differentiating between normal and pathological findings.

* Reporting on all performed scans post-scan

* Ability to carry out investigation without supervision

* Communicate effectively with patients, doctors and other third parties, where necessary, ensuring a high standard of diagnostics, including via electronic means, where the information is transmitted in real time.

* You will be able to prioritise your workload without direct supervision, reporting any issues, concerns or personal limitations to the service director.

* Carry out duties commensurate with the level of the job role.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

* B Sc/DCR PG Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or DMU Ultrasound

* HCPC Registration

* Evidence of other further studies, i.e.

MSc in Medical Ultrasound Post Graduate Certificates

* IT Skills

* 2 year's experience in a clinical environment

* Eager to learn and grow within the business

* Driving Licence (Required)
