About the Role

Patties Foods is a nationally recognized, large food manufacturer, supplier, and marketer in Bairnsdale.

Patties produce both sweet and savoury food products sold throughout grocery and convenience stores as well as to foodservice distributors who supply cafes, stadiums, caterers, schools, restaurants, hotels, clubs, and even overseas markets.

GBS Recruitment are seeking an experienced Forklift Operators/ Store Persons to join the organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operating controls to align forklifts and raise and lower forks to stack and unstack items in warehouses


• Transporting goods to designated areas


• Ensuring goods are stored in correct areas so that they can be easily located when orders are made up


• Inspecting and controlling equipment to identify wear and damage

Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' operating a Forklift, preferably in a factory environment


• High reach forklift experience would be an advantage


• Previous proven experience loading and unloading trucks


• Intermediate computer literacy


• Ability to display a commitment to safety


• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Must be able to supply two current managerial referees at interview stage


• Second Round Interview with the client


• Pre-employment medical screening including urine drug & alcohol test


• National Criminal History Check
