NOTTINGHAM AREA


(HOME BASED/WFH/WORK FROM HOME - COVERING THE EAST MIDLANDS AREA)


£25,000 to £30,000, OTE £60,000 UNCAPPED + BENEFITS + POSSIBLE PACKAGE NEGOTIATION FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE + COMPANY CAR


THE OPPORTUNITY:


You'll be joining a leading business within the scientific arena as a Sales Executive with a responsibility for the East Midlands region.

They're a highly successful business with a proven track record of supplying a full product suite to the scientific sector with typical target customers being microbiology labs.

As an essential business and within a very topical industry, they've enjoyed exceptional growth through this period which is in addition to the huge year on year growth that they already experience.


As a Sales Executive, your hard work and results will give you access to ‘THE BEST' commission structure within the industry, apart from being a great company, that's another reason why they have exceptional staff retention/development rates and why grow year on year.


This is the perfect opportunity for someone already selling products within the Scientific / Life Sciences industry OR for someone working within a technical role within the industry looking to take a leap into Sales.


THE ROLE:



  • Managing an existing client portfolio within the East Midlands region and extending the client portfolio of business through proactive business development activities

  • Working closely within the head office Account Manager to ensure that all customer orders are fulfilled in line with the contract

  • Booking appointments with existing clients and new business prospects, with a mixture of face to face and video-based meetings

  • Understanding the needs of the client, identifying opportunities and acting as a technical product expert to guide clients

  • Preparing quotes, negotiating price and following up quotations

  • Providing technical back up at meetings as and when required

  • Attending internal meetings to report on region success, pipeline and growth


THE PERSON:



  • The client will consider candidates with experience from the following background

    • A Sales Executive selling technical products within the scientific industry

    • A Technical/Scientific Lab background with the key attributes to be successful in a sales position



  • Ability explain technical products to non-technical decision makers

  • Highly motivated individual who is commercial focused BUT also with a focus of developing long lasting relationships

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Comfortable attending meetings with key customers and prospective customers
