Job Title - LCV Technician / Van Mechanic / MOT Tester

Salary - £28,000 plus overtime

Hours - 06:00 - 13:30 then 14:00 - 21:30 weekly rotation

I am currently working with a main dealership who in the Blackburn area who are now looking to expand their team with the addition of a qualified LCV Technician / Van Mechanic / MOT Tester.

LCV Technician / Van Mechanic / MOT Tester job role:

• Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer's procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.


• Assist in the fault diagnosis process.


• Carry out MOT Tests to class 7


• Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair.


• Ensure that all vehicle defects are reported to your workshop controller

Requirements for LCV Technician / Van Mechanic / MOT Tester:

• Previous experience as an LCV Technician / Van Mechanic / MOT Tester is essential


• Must be certified for MOT Class 7


• Ideally have a formal qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent


• Must have own tools


• Hold a full UK driving licence
