Senior Construction Planner - nr Reading (Berkshire)

Construction Schemes up to £20m

We currently have a requirement for a Senior Planner to work on regional public sector construction projects, based from near Reading in Berkshire.

The role will involve planning at tender, preconstruction and live stages of multiple public sector schemes, worth anything up to circa £12m each across London and the South East.

Typical duties will include creating detailed programmes, monitoring/updating progress on live schemes, reporting to and troubleshooting with senior stakeholders and to work collaboratively with the internal and external teams.

Occasional project-related travel across the South East will be required.

Our client is seeking the following:

• Significant planning experience within the construction sector on working on projects worth up to £20m.


• Relevant engineering/construction degree highly desirable.


• Previous experience of working on public sector schemes and some exposure to projects on the Shaping Public Construction, DFE frameworks, etc.


• Familiar with relevant planning software (Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, MS Project, etc).


• Eligible to work in the UK.

In return, our client is offering a basic salary of up to circa £70-75,000 per annum plus a benefits package comprising car/allowance, pension, health and various flexible benefits.
