Alternatively, are you an NQ Solicitor with a seat in personal injury seeking a new challenge? This is a market leading opportunity for an NQ or personal injury solicitor with up to two years' experience looking to work on complex, challenging work that will have a multi-jurisdictional element.

This role could take you away from managing RTA/EL/PL matters and you would step foot into a commercial shipping environment.

Role

-Our client is well-known in the area for this type of work and has a well-established strong team of eleven, based in Newcastle upon Tyne offices.

-The work will primarily deal with injuries to crew members and passengers, third parties and stowaways on-board large vessels.

Therefore, this could include dealing with shipping insurance, medical insurances, medical care plus much more.

-You will run matters dealing with injuries on-board and help to resolve these matters.

- Given the nature of shipping work this role does have a 24/7 element to the role as should a crew member come into harm whilst in a different time zone you will be required to assist.

This is rare; however, our client is looking for committed employees that would not hesitate to pick up matters when/if required.

Candidate Requirements

-You should be a newly qualified Solicitor that has ideally studied a seat in your training contract within personal injury, healthcare, or clinical negligence.

-Alternatively, our client is happy to receive applications from Solicitors with up to two years post qualification experience and similarly you should be working within personal injury at a top tier firm.

-You must have excellent academics throughout your academic career and have a real willingness to get involved, help your team, and possesses that real team spirit work ethic.
