This Field Service Engineer role is hugely important to ensure their market position is maintained in the future.
The Role:
As one of our clients Field Service Engineers, your main responsibilities will be to provide service, maintenance and installation for an extensive range of garage equipment ranging from MOT stations to Vehicle Lifts, calibrations and repairs to a wide range of equipment.
Each day will be different as you will find yourself working within workshops, garages and franchised dealerships.
You must be comfortable working on your own to fault find and fix issues as they arise.
Although a strong work ethic is a requirement, you also must be able to work in a small team as you will also be involved in the installation of machines across your area when required.
The Person:
We're interested in your range of skills as you could find yourself carrying out a variety of roles from pre-planned preventative maintenance (PPM), general repairs, calibration, fault diagnosis and installation.
Our client needs someone with good working knowledge & experience of the mechanical engineering environment including Hydraulics & Pneumatics with a good understanding of Electrics.
Experience in Servicing/Repairs of Garage Equipment would be a must as would present or past GEA accreditation.
Although primarily 'territory' based, you will need be flexible and happy to work away from home when necessary.

* Full driving licence - Essential
* Hydraulic / electromechanical lift experience - Ideal
