Location – Elland, HX5

Our Client is looking for warehouse operatives

Working Hours

(Days) Sun – Thur or Mon – Fri 06:00 – 15:30

(Afternoons) Mon – Fri 12:30 – 22:00

(Nights) 20:30 – 06:00

Length of Assignment – Ongoing 

Pay Rate – In line with the National Living Wage. 

The Client – Our client was founded in 1972 as a part-time venture providing car servicing and tyres.

Today our clients Group is the fastest growing wholesaler, distributor and retailer of tyres in the UK.

Selling six million tyres nationwide, (20 percent of the total UK market).

Duties – As a warehouse operative you will be responsible for the loading and unloading of tyres.

You will be responsible for the allocation of stock in the correct manor, training will be provided.

This role is very physical and will require good stamina and strength.

Other Duties Include:

• General Warehouse Duties
• Picking/Order picking
• Packing/Order Packing
• General operative duties
• Labelling
• Quality checking
• Unloading & loading
• Working on packaging lines, opening cases, applying bar code stickers and palletising.
• Sorting incoming and outgoing products
• Undertaking hand-packaging tasks.
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards
• Maintaining high quality standards.
• Stock management
• Manual handling duties

The successful candidate should have:-

• Good attitude towards work
• Flexibility as the nature of the work may change during the day
• Ability to work both as part of a team and under own initiative
