Sales Support Assistant / Executive

Our client is a bespoke glass supply and installation business, working with customers to provide quality glass products which include glass balustrades, custom shower enclosures, glass for staircases, juliet balconies, glass doors, partitions and walk on floor glass. 

They pride themselves on the quality of their product and workmanship, their customer service and their positive team work ethic.  

They are looking to hire a hard-working individual to join their growing team, working closely with their Business Development Manager in a fast-paced office. The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a team to provide an outstanding service to their customers through initial contact through to sale.


The Sales Support Responsibilities include:

  • First point of contact for sales enquiries via phone, email and media submissions 
  • Uploading accurate enquiry information to CRM Database (Hubspot) and creating the deal
  • Following up with customer if further information is required from a submission 
  • Taking relevant information from the customer for the estimator 
  • Updating KPIs and LQ2S form (SharePoint) 
  • Estimating customer enquiries to submit an initial cost 
  • Typing up and emailing customer quotations and following up to confirm 
  • Contributing towards a weekly sales target 
  • Raising and sending of deposit invoices – following up on payment 
  • Updating production system when project is live
  • Create customer hamper message and saving to production task
  • Maintaining CRM system to ensure customer details are kept up to date 
  • Main support to Business Development Manager 
  • Booking in site visits for surveyor 
  • Sending confirmation emails to customers for site visit
  • Advising production manager of templating visits required 
  • Contribution towards continuous improvement to the business and its processes 

Personal Characteristics:

  • Can do, positive attitude
  • Strong organisational skills being able to multitask in a fast-paced environment 
  • Polite and able to deal with a variety of customers
  • Proactive, self-motivated, team player
  • Any experience in using a CRM database, invoicing and assistant roles 
  • Able to work to a KPI/Target structure 
  • Friendly approach to all customers and team members
  • Willingness to learn 
  • Any previous sales experience
