Area Sales Manager : LED Lighting

The Company:

This manufacturer is a leader in the development of LED lighting, with a range of environmental and low maintenance solutions.
As a standalone business they have been established for over 50 year and design and develop their range in house and manufacture at a new state of the art facility in the UK.
They are also a part of a much larger group, one of the fastest growing lighting groups in Europe, and are well supported to continue their growth into the future.



The Role:

As an Area Sales Manager you will look after the North West territory from Blackpool down to Stoke with most of your time spent in the Manchester area.
Your focus is on gaining specification for a niche range of robust, durable, easily fitted and maintained lighting fittings.
Primary applications found within environments where there is a genuine need for strong lighting solutions to withstand more that the run of the mill wear and tear.
Working with Consultants, Architects, Designers, Engineers, Local Authorities or Contractors, your role is to gain specification on relevant projects across the area.
This is a very lucrative sales territory, with a realistic target, that has not reached it’s potential – so a real opportunity to maximise earnings from the uncapped commission scheme.
£50k Basic £60k OTE, Uncapped Commission Scheme, Generous Car Allowance, Contributory Pension, Mobile, Laptop, 25 Days Holiday + Bank.



The Ideal Person:

Specifications sales experience – through Consultants, Architects, Designers, Engineers, Local Authorities or Contractors.
Able to qualify which projects are worth pursuing.
Lighting or wider electrical industry experience is required.
You will also be a tough, determined sales individual able to sell on needs, not price.
