Law Costs Draftsman

A Solicitors firm based in Blackburn are looking to recruit a Law Costs Draftsman into their firm.

The firm specialises in Personal Injury, Medical Negligence and Industrial Disease.

As a Law Costs Draftsman your duties will involve handling own caseload, reviewing Bills of Costs, preparing budgets, drafting Points of Dispute and conducting negotiations with the paying party.

You need to be driven, organised, be able to work on own initiative without close supervision and adhere to strict deadlines.

The ideal Law Costs Draftsman will have previous experience in a Costs Draftsman position; candidates with strong a Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence background in Costs would be ideal.

You will have experience in Drafting Bills of costs, preparing points of replies and costs budgets.

You will also have negotiation experience and be able to manage a caseload from start to settlement.

The salary on offer is dependent on experience.
