Business Intelligence - Technical Solution Support

Context Recruitment is excited to be working with a large market-leading multinational group who provide services to millions of people internationally daily.

Several openings for Technical Solution Support Analysts to join them as part of a new team within their centralised IT function, supporting, developing and continuously improving BI solutions across the group; full end-to-end stack, from data warehouses, ETL, through to BI visualisation products.

Until recently our client was outsourcing delivery and support of solutions within this Business Intelligence programme to a 3rd party, however following poor delivery and performance the decision has been made to in-source the capability, building out a new BI support team, responsible for supporting the platform (on Amazon Redshift) underpinning Business Intelligence solutions across the group.

This will involve providing support to the group's businesses / end-users with all things related to the BI/Data platform and databases and the associated systems.

Beyond this, the team will be freed up to consult across the business, delivering further solutions and enhancing current solutions across all business functions.

The position will involve a great deal of variety, integrating data from a range of source systems, with a broad range of outputs and data visualisation tools / dashboards to drive data led decision making at all levels.

, … and much more, including opportunity to get involved in solutioning/implementation work

The working hours are between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, working a 35 hours week.

Start and finish times are therefore staggered between the team and staff choose what working hours work best for them.

There is also a requirement to provide incident cover; 1 in 12 weeks on call (additional pay for being on call and time back in lieu if actually called out).
