Refuse & Recycling loaders

A new opportunity has arisen for Refuse & Recycling loaders to work across different sites throughout Gwynedd.

As a Refuse & Recycling loader your duties will be to:

• Collect and then load refuse/recycling materials on to appropriate vehicles
• Assist the driver in the safe manouvering of the vehicles, on the round and at the disposal location
• Promote the recycling of appropriate materials.
  
  
• Exchange information with the public and provide relevant advice/guidance.
• Use tact and diplomacy with the public at all times.
• Undertake any other comparative and reasonable duties.

We are keen to see your CV if you have the following requirements:

• A good work ethic, physically fit due to the nature of the role and happy to work outdoors
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Fluent Welsh speaking as it is a customer facing role
• Your own steel toe cap boots and waterproofs, other PPE will be provided
• Own transport is an advantage due to location of some sites

This is a temporary vacancy with an ASAP Start for approximately 2 – 3 weeks with an hourly pay rate of £9.36.

Working a 12.33 hours per day starting at 05:30 am - 18:20 pm and may include weekends & bank holidays.
