Vehicle Technician/Mechanic - Cheshire Oaks

Benefits: £25,000 basic dependent on experience, plus £5k bonuses and overtime per annum available, Monday - Friday 8-5.30pm, one in two Saturdays 8- 12.30pm, 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, excellent training and progression opportunities

We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to work for a main dealership group based in Cheshire Oaks, for a company who have been established for over 50 years and have over 20 sites and are a well-established group going from strength to strength each year.

We need someone that has at least 3 years' experience at Level 3 NVQ in Mechanics and from a dealership background.

It isn't necessary that you are qualified to do MOT tests but this would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fault Finding & Diagnostics


• General maintenance and repair (exhausts, electrics, engines)


• Tyre fitting


• Vehicle Servicing


• PDI's


• MOT Testing (if qualified)

Desirable Qualifications / Experience:

• Vehicle Repair & Maintenance Qualification


• Experience working in a Dealership


• Ability to find faults and diagnose issues


• Experience with clutches, engines, exhausts and electrics


• Familiarity in fitting and changing tyres


• Experience in undertaking extensive services on vehicles to a high standard


• High attention to detail


• Ability to work under pressure in a quick paced environment

Package:

• Basic Salary of £25,000


• Uncapped bonuses available (£30,000 OTE)


• Monday - Friday 8-5.30pm, 1 in 2 Saturdays 8- 12.30pm
