CNC Miller

A Leeds based Engineering Giant are currently searching for a CNC Miller on a contract basis because of continued demand of their services & products.

Employing around 15,000 globally and turning over £2.5B, this company are incredibly well established in a number of high-profile industries including Oil & Gas and Power Generation.



Based in Leeds, the CNC Miller will be responsible for setting, operating and editing programmes on a 3-axis machining centre, as well as operating a variety of manual machines including Vertical Borers, Grinders, Radial Drillers and Millers.



The successful CNC Miller can easily commute to this Leeds based business from surrounding towns & cities including Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Halifax, Oldham and even Manchester.



The CNC Miller will have:
· Formal qualifications within Mechanical Engineering or Machining - must be apprenticeship level/NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds, EITB, HNC, HND etc.)
· Experience working as a CNC Miller or Machinist within a high precision environment - ideally heavy engineering
· The ability to read, interpret and edit/modify CNC programmes using Fanuc controls
· Experience operating manual machinery - ideally Radial Drills, Vertical Borers, Grinders and Millers

In return, the CNC Miller will receive:
· Renumeration: PAYE or LTD rates available
o PAYE: £14.90 per hour
o LTD: £19.00 per hour
· Working Hours: 37 Hours per week
· Monday to Thursday: 07:00 to 15:30
· Friday: 07:00 to 12:00
· Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days (25 + 8 stats)
· Free on-site parking
· Initial 6-month contract (potentially extended but not guaranteed)
