Van Roadside Assistance Technician Required

Our client, a Prestige Main Dealer Group, is currently recruiting for a new Roadside project that has recently launched.

They are looking for experience Van Technicians who have roadside/ mobile experience to join their company.

This programme provides 24/7 roadside assistance to our clients van customers in the event of a mechanical breakdown or minor mishap.

The role is to provide roadside assistance coverage using your fully equipped assistance vehicles to get customers mobile as soon as possible following notification of required assistance.

Our Client is offering the successful Roadside Technician:

- A Basic Salary of £29,000 Plus Bonus
- Shift Pattern 4 On / 4 Off to provide 24/7 Coverage.

Shifts include Night and Weekend Work.

Duties of a Roadside Assistance Technician:

- To greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, discuss and confirm vehicle symptoms and plan appropriate resolution quickly
- To complete an initial roadside assessment of the situation to ensure the scene is safe to attempt repair or to contact appropriate resources as required to assist
- To liaise effectively with the Customer Assistance Controller (CAC) and the Workshop Controllers
- To discuss with the customer any work identified, with a clear explanation of the work
- To keep required logs of assistance times, works identified/repairs completed and customer details so that the Workshop Controllers are able to complete required claims paperwork after the event.
- To ensure all customers vehicle remain in the state of cleanliness found
- To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness of the S24 vehicle and equipment
- In the event a repair cannot be completed at roadside, to arrange customer vehicle recovery and ensure customer has safe onward travel arranged
Our client is looking for candidates with stable premium brand experience OR mobile/ roadside assistance experience.
