Business Development Manager

A unique opportunity for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join a fast- growing business coaching company on a part-time basis.

Our client supports business owners with a range of education and coaching programmes to help them achieve what they want in business and in life.

One-to-one coaching, group coaching and webinars fill the working week; so highly effective and consistent marketing is required.

About the Role

The ideal Business Development Manager is focussed on achieving targets.

You’ll be naturally intelligent and curious.

You'll pick things up quickly and always be looking for a better marketing angle.

With minimum supervision, you'll research and execute campaigns to generate leads for all coaching programmes and events.

This role is based in Peterborough, so applicants must live within 30 minutes commuting distance of the city.

Although most of the work is home based, some face-to-face networking is involved when permitted.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Generating leads for your coach – you’ll have a clear set of targets
  • Implementing marketing campaigns and ad-hoc marketing projects
  • Manage marketing administrative duties
  • Telephone and e-mail marketing
  • Networking, sometime early in the morning or in the evening

You will be:

  • Results-driven, but with great honesty and integrity
  • Resilient – you’ll meet resistance, but you’ll keep going
  • Creative - you'll be helping to create videos, social media and other ads to catch attention
  • Organised - multiple campaigns will be running simultaneously and you'll need to keep your eye on them all to make sure nothing is missed

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years’ experience of marketing and selling (not commodities)
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience of on-line and face-to-face networking
