Job Title - Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician

Salary - Up to £41,800 plus overtime and bonus worth up to £7500 per year

Hours - NIGHT SHIFT Monday to Friday 16:30 - 02:00 with occasional weekend work

I am currently working with a fantastic company who are now looking to expand their team with the addition of a qualified Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician in the Rainham area for their night shift.

Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician job role:

• To service, adjust and repair vehicles, components and accessories including removal and refitting in a safe, proper and economical manner using equipment provided.


• To diagnose faults and test vehicles utilising equipment available and using recognised test procedures and techniques.
  
  This will include road testing where deemed necessary.
  
  To drive in a manner within the parameters of the law and ensuring that all police signs are covered appropriately


• Provide technical and diagnostic support to colleagues where required


• Ensure all warranty job card completions are followed in order to maintain compliance to the terms of warranty in-house status.


• Keep up to date with technical and manufacturer/industry information.

Requirements for Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician:

• Previous experience as a Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician is essential


• Ideally have a formal qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent


• Must have own tools


• Must have a driving licence
