Band 3 Mental Healthcare Assistant (HCA) Southampton

I am recruiting a Band 3 Mental Healthcare Assistant (HCA) for a short stay admission, assessment and treatment ward based in Southampton, the ward is responsible for providing care for older people with organic mental health needs, mainly dementia.



As a Mental Healthcare Assistant your role will include working alongside the Nursing staff to implement care plans for patients, you will also perform observations with a focus on spotting any deterioration and reporting this accordingly.



The Limited Company rates of pay are up to £17.00 per hour (Uplifts for Nights and Weekends)This would be paid through an Umbrella Company

Requirements for this role as a Mental Healthcare Assistant:
- 6 Months experience in a Healthcare / Mental Health Setting.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (Update Service Preferred)
- Mandatory Training Certificates (Training Can be provided
- Vaccinations (TB, Hepatitis B, MMR and Varicella / Chicken Pox)
