Service Coordinator


Due to recent expansion, this established and successful manufacturing business are looking to recruit a Service Coordinator to join their service office team in Manchester.


The role will include:



  • Responsibility for managing the day-to-day service enquiries, ensuring that all are resolved within a timely manner

  • Raising and issuing quotations, sales orders, service contracts and invoices

  • Deliver an extremely professional, efficient and accurate service to customers

  • Develop relationships and act as a single point of contact for key customers

  • Allocation of service engineer's schedules, including arranging vehicles, equipment and parts

  • Communicate and work closely with internal departments to process commissioning and warranty enquiries

  • Complete ad-hoc requests to support customers and the service manager

  • Maintain accurate and concise records on a service management system


Essential requirements:



  • Experience with scheduling a mobile engineering team including handling urgent call outs

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate at all levels

  • Proficient computer skills including usage of Outlook and Microsoft packages

  • Exceptional customer service and problem solving can-do attitude

  • Self-starter, able to work independently as well as within a team


Desirable:



  • Customer service and /or business or project management qualifications

  • Experience handling technical enquiries i.e.

    parts drawings and determining faults/parts required

  • Key account management, facilities management, contract support


On offer



  • Salary to £26,000 pa dependent on experience

  • Profit sharing bonus scheme

  • 2.30pm Friday finish

  • Free on-site parking
