Quantity Surveyor required for one of the world`s leading contractors.

The role is based in Kent and you will be part of a team delivering fast track retail projects.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone wanting to work for a business unit which is growing in scope and would be attractive for someone interested in career progression and everyday challenges.

You will be responsible for all financial aspects of the project and develop and maintain close relationships with customers and subcontractors.

You will be involved in all stages from proposal and concept to close out.

You will lead the commercial functions of the project, preparing and monitoring the subcontract procurement schedule, trade contractor bid lists and prepare detailed cost plans.

You will be Degree, NVQ or BTEC qualified.

You will have at least 6 years experience in a surveying role.

You will ideally have had exposure of fast track retail projects for a tier 1 contractor.

You will have a good understanding of JCT forms of contract & contract law.
