Estates Surveyor

A local authority based in Caerphilly are looking for an Estates Surveyor to join their team.

This is a temporary vacancy which is ongoing.

The main purpose of the role is to value, manage and review the Council's property portfolio and conduct negotiations on behalf of the Council with owners, occupiers, and professional advisers in respect of a wide range of property transactions, and report on such matters with recommendations.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;

Knowledge and understanding of the legislative and statutory obligations that affect the delivery of estate management services generally and valuations specifically.
Knowledge of good practice in the delivery of valuation services in accordance with RICS professional standards.

Candidates must be enthusiastic, good communicators and flexible with experience of building surveying, asset management, and contract management.

The client are looking for the following qualifications:

Ideally RICS on CIOB.
