Lead Investigation Specialist - Microbiology

We are currently looking for a Lead Investigation Specialist - Microbiology to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Wiltshire area.

As the Lead Investigation Specialist - Microbiology you will be responsible for providing technical support within Microbiology and Environmental monitoring.


Your duties as the Lead Investigation Specialist - Microbiology will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:


You will provide expert scientific input into investigations and other problem-solving activities.


As the Lead Investigation Specialist you will lead and advise on Environmental Monitoring improvements and analytical method remediation activities.


You will also be responsible for leading the QC aspects of disinfectant and cleaning validation, including liaising with other departments.

The Lead Investigation Specialist will need to ensure that work is in compliance with cGMP.


The Lead Investigation Specialist will also be expected to prepare technical documentation including but not limited to SOPs, specifications, protocols, investigations and reports.


To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Lead Investigation Specialist - Microbiology we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:


Relevant degree in a Microbiology or Life Sciences related discipline plus industry experience.


Proven industry experience working in a pharmaceutical QC Microbiology function and/or cleanroom environment, preferably within a sterile site.


A working knowledge and practical experience performing environmental monitoring, cleanroom qualification as well as microbiology and aseptic techniques (e.g.

endotoxin, bioburden)
