Hours of Work: 37.5 hours, Monday- Friday
Salary: up to £30,000 per annum

Citation's digital team is growing and we're on the lookout for a WordPress Developer/web developer to join our ranks.

If you love writing code, getting involved in web projects and anything tech - this is the role for you!

We're on the hunt for someone to help us keep our websites fresh and build customisation for us in WordPress.

You'll be working across all websites in our division, writing code and making our websites user friendly, so there'll be plenty to sink your teeth into.

If you've got a strong understanding of WordPress/PHP and its impact on websites, you're comfortable working with different marketing teams and you're a born problem solver, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll be putting your technical skills to use in various situations in the role, including:

, Working alongside our digital team and wider divisional marketing teams to roll out changes across all associated websites
, Create and implement WordPress customisations
, Resolving any defects that are raised on testing or live sites
, Tracking new technologies and suggesting how we can introduce them into our websites
, Working with our external web agency, as well as our internal design team to create new experiences and push them live on our websites

, Experience with WordPress and building customisations.
, Experience developing websites with the end-user in mind
, A self-starter with a positive can-do attitude
, Experience of JavaScript
, Knowledge of web servers
, Strong understanding of Git

And here's a few things that would be great to have, but aren't essential:

, Experience of UI/UX
, Experience creating plugins for WordPress
, Hands on PHP development experience
