Polar Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a market leading IT Services client for a Cloud Pre-Sales Solution Architect who will be responsible for leading customer pre-sales opportunities, articulating business and technical strategies, and designing and assuring complex, high-level solutions for corporate and public sector customer organisations.


The Cloud Pre-Sales Solution Architect will be an integral member of the Consultancy Practice, and will be central in defining compelling technology and services solutions, and providing thought leadership to peers, the Practice, customers and partners.



Skills & Experience



  • Extensive experience in a similar senior Cloud Pre-Sales Solution Architect position for an enterprise IT Services / Consultancy organisation, transforming client vision into winning technology strategies and solutions

  • Extensive experience successfully operating within pre-sales for an IT Services / Consultancy organisation, working with Solution Leads and Sales Specialists to drive cloud migration opportunities

  • Significant experience positioning the business benefits of Public Cloud Solutions

  • Proven Solution / Enterprise Architecture expertise, designing and delivering £multi-million Digital Transformation / Enterprise Application solutions

  • Proven experience leading RFI, RFP or bid responses, delivering engaging bid collateral.

  • Experience providing qualification of solutions, technical assurance / governance for engagements

  • Strong commercial skills, providing input into business cases, solution costings etc.

  • Evidence of thought leadership / innovation, enhancing Consultancy capability and offerings and leading and mentoring colleagues

  • Professional certification in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.

  • SME level technical skills in (one of) AWS, Azure or GCP.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable leading customer meetings and events, presenting and able to produce high quality engagement documentation

  • Adept at developing influential relationships with customers, suppliers and partners at senior management / executive level

  • High level of industry awareness - able to provide evaluation of emerging technologies.

  • Able to undergo SC level Security Clearance.

  • Full clean driving licence and willing to travel widely for assignments.
