The salary starts at £18,000.

depending on experience, shifts are on a rota basis and will include evenings and weekends.

Providing residential care for children & young people between the ages of 7 - 17, with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

The 5 bedded home offers a therapeutic model of care to the children supported which is designed to provide an enriching and positive environment.

You must be qualified to level 3 in Childrens & Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent and have at least one years experience working in a residential children home or therapeutic school setting.

We are looking for nurturing and supporting individuals, that can give our children high levels of care and allow them to achieve amazing outcomes.

The role is to promote and encourage independence and life skills for young people, ensuring that their safety and wellbeing is always the first and most important outcome.

This is an interesting and rewarding opportunity supporting young people, often from difficult backgrounds, providing care and emotional support as well as supporting with behavioural problems.

Duties include supporting in the home, with activities and outings, supporting with meals and chores and ensuring the best care for the children in the home.

The applicant should have training and experience in care, ideally working with looked after children.
