Stride Resourcing are working with one of the UK's largest structural steel company who are currently looking for 2 experienced Fabricator Welders to join them at their busy Wombwell workshop on a permanent basis.

Our client is an award-winning steelwork contractor who have the ability of processing up to 35,000 tonnes of steel every year from multiple workshops across the UK.

They provide steel for many sectors including commercial and domestic builds, healthcare, data centres, industrial, defence, retail and energy, just to name a few meaning they can adapt to not only the diverse range of projects but also adjust to the many changes each sector are experiencing.



Main Responsibilities
As a Fabricator Welder, your main duties will be fabricating and welding structural steel components for a variety of different projects and reading specifications from detailed engineering drawings.

You will be an integral part of the team, ensuring accuracy and high standards are always met.



Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have experience working with structural steel carrying out fabrication, welding and plating duties.


You will ideally have either a City & Guilds or NVQ in a relevant subject or experience as a Craftsman.


You must be able to read specifications from complex engineering drawings.


You must be used to working to working in a high paced environment.


Timekeeping skills are essential.



Work will consist of a 40-hour week with an option for overtime in evening and weekends, paid 1.5x the hourly wage.

Shift times are typically between 7-4 with an early finish on Friday.
