Assembly Fitter

MORE NEEDED Immediate Starts available: An Assembly Fitter working Monday to Friday, 40 hrs a week, OT paid at 1.5 and double time on a Sunday.

£22- 25K a year

Working on brand new vehicles within a modern facility, sociable working hours and friendly workshop

The company is a leading fleet management company with, multiple sites across the UK that boast a low turnover of staff.



The role would suit anyone who has worked with Joinery, (semi-skilled joiners welcome to apply), Coachbuilders, welder fabricators, Vehicle fitters or people that have worked in ‘hands-on' roles who are comfortable using hand and power tools.



Location of the Assembly fitter position: York

The Assembly Fitter will be:

• Working in a clean, modern and safe facility on a vehicle conversion line


• Completing vehicle conversions using various techniques from pre-manufactured and in-house manufactured parts


• Fitting optional equipment including racking, shelving, false floors and tail-lifts


• Using various hand and power tools.

To be successful in the Assembly Fitter you may have:

• Experience working in manufacturing, assembling or fitting job - Joinery, Coachbuilding, Mechanical Assembly, Fitting (Kitchen, Window, etc.), Manufacturing


• The ability to comfortably use hand and air tools


• The aptitude to become comfortable reading basic technical drawings - ideally, you will already have this.
