Finance Controller

We're recruiting a Finance Controller (F.C) to take over from the Finance Director in the coming years.

You will the No2 tpo the FD, but take be the lead in the finance department and provide support to the Finance Team and overall responsibility for day to day running of the Team.


Fantastic company who have grown to £20m t/o business specialising in the engineering and manufacturing and employing over 100 employees at their HQ based in Huddersfield.



Key responsibilities

1.

Finance



  • Manage the preparation of the monthly UK and EMEA management financial reporting

  • Provide Weekly reporting for the Brand identifying corrective action required to achieve financial forecasts.

  • Manage the preparation for yearend statutory requirements for

  • Assist as required in the preparation for yearend statutory requirements

  • Manage the Company Expense process to ensure all visa and cash expenses from Concur are correct and entered into the Company's accounting software, ensuring timely payment of any expenses owed to employees by the company.

  • Manage the analysis of all the Company's expenditure as required by the Finance Director including monthly variance reporting and corrective actions.

  • Manage the fixed asset register of the Company.

  • Manage the UK Company's VAT records, including import and export documentation.

  • Adhoc financial analysis as and when required

  • Control the preparation of the monthly forecast income statements

  • Control the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan / Budget for the brand as directed by the Finance Director.

  • Monitor and report on External and Internal factors that will impact the Company's Financial Performance.



2.

Credit Control



  • Report and facilitate the credit control function for

  • Provide Management with overdue Debtors information on a regular basis.

  • Manage the Company's debt collection procedures.

  • Reporting of the debtor's position as directed by the Finance Director.

  • Provide support for the commercial projects including setting up new contracts, updating systems and dealing with contract extras

  • Provide commercial reporting to the commercial and finance team.

  • Manage the customer requirements for the provision of Bank Guarantees both Advance and Performance.

  • Management of Agent's commission records ensuring all documentation



3.

Payroll & Employee Benefits



  • Manage the process of the monthly payroll of the Company and completion of year-end requirements.

  • Prepare all documentation required by HM Customs on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

  • Ensure employee overtime records are maintained including holiday overtime pay.

  • Manage the Company P11D Process.

  • Control all Company Pension, Medical & Life Cover Schemes.

  • Management of the company fleet cars and company car allowance scheme.
