IFA Client Services Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an IFA Client Services Manager to join a well-established and successful financial planning company in Cheshire.

You will be joining a business that has exciting growth plans expanding its highly valued Business Support Team to support its team of client facing advisers.

Job Description:

As the IFA Client Services Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Business Support team in processing new business and managing clients.

The role will also see you undertaking basic research and creation of suitability reports.

This must be done in such a way as to ensure that the firm's clients and service propositions are delivered in an efficient and robust way, whilst maintaining high levels of risk management and operational effectiveness.

  • As the IFA Client Services Manager, you will be responsible for administration within the IFA Team and providing support to the Paraplanners and Support Staff within the team.

  • Supporting the wider Business Support team with all Management responsibilities.

  • Maintaining actuate records using our internal back office system.

  • Creating and producing letters, suitability reports and invoices.

  • As the IFA Client Services Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out all tasks in a manner consistent including processing new business in line with compliance procedures.

  • Obtaining illustrations and product information from providers.

  • Process of new business.

  • Ensuring all client files are compliant on an ongoing basis.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Business Support role, for a financial planning/wealth management/investment organisation is essential.

  • Experience within a Supervisory or Managerial role.

  • Experience of using Intelligent Office.

  • Experience of using computer-based management systems including Wrap/Platforms such as AJ Bell, Ascentric, Standard Life.

  • Computer literate, conscientious and have a good attention to detail.

  • Clear understanding of the financial planning process.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Prioritise own workload, and the workload of the Business Support team.

  • A good working knowledge of platforms, protection, pensions and investment products.

  • Proficient in using MS Excel, Outlook, Word and Intelliflo.

Hours: Monday - Friday between 8:00am - 6:00pm (flexible)

Salary: up to £36,000 per annum DOE
