PAT/EET Testing Engineer

An immediate start is available for a PAT Testing Engineer to join an established company at an exciting time of change.

AC Test is looking to appoint a committed, experienced, qualified PAT contractor.

You will have completed the City & Guilds 2377 (Parts 1 & 2) and have, at least, one year’s experience, preferably within both domestic and commercial settings.

Applicants must be physically fit and also have a clean UK driving licence and enjoy driving as this position requires travel on a daily basis (mainly covering the busy areas of London and surrounding areas).

You will be a PAT engineer who:

• is City & Guilds 2377 (Parts 1 & 2) qualified
• Has an understanding of the latest 5th edition from the IET
• Seaward Apollo experience
• can confidently carry out testing of portable appliances in local offices and other commercial and residential buildings
• is trustworthy, works in harmony with clients, respects their premises, observes guidelines, and ensures that clients’ settings are kept tidy and safe
• is flexible, maintains high standards, self-evaluates, receptive to constructive feedback regarding performance and strives to continually improve
• successfully manages to work independently or in a team and takes pride in his/her work
• has own transport (vehicle may be arranged for the right candidate)
• has good diagnostic skills, is competent in the use of IT, can record data accurately, and possesses excellent verbal and written English as you will be liaising directly with customers; therefore, excellent customer service skills are essential
• has no serious criminal convictions (successful candidates will undergo DBS checks)

Salary: Remuneration and assignments to be negotiated.

£24,000-28,500 per annum (

*depending on experience and contract)
