Engineering Labourer

Due to expansion, we are currently looking for an Engineering Labourer to work days, with a starting rate of £8.72 per hour.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Manufacturing companies who have a highly reputable name within their specialised field.

Based in Wakefield our client is a multi award winning manufacturer who export their products throughout Europe and employ over 350 people across the UK.

Benefits of the Engineering Labourer:

• £8.72 per hour starting rate


• Days - Monday to Friday 40 hours


• Overtime available at an uplifted rate


• PAYE - Weekly pay & 28 days Holiday


• Ongoing training provided to up-skill further into other areas of the business

Duties of the Engineering Labourer:

• General labouring duties including sweeping, emptying bins ensuring the workshop is clean and tidy


• Assisting skilled workers on the shop floor


• Using hand-held power tools


• Cleaning duties - cleaning units/cabins to a high standard


• Assisting other departments as and when required

Experience of the Engineering Labourer:

• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy


• Previous experience of working in an engineering environment would be beneficial


• Ensures deadlines are met whilst working under pressure


• Excellent team player

Ideally the Engineering Labourer will have previous experience working within a similar role.
