Planning Lawyer

Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of an Oxfordshire-based local authority, who are seeking a Planning Lawyer to join their legal department.

ROLE: Planning Lawyer
LOCATION: Oxfordshire
CONTRACT: 3 months ongoing (working from home)
RATE: £30 - £40ph

The Role

, To progress files through to completion ranging in complexity related to Planning and Highways matters
, To work on the drafting and negotiation of S106, s278 and s38 agreements
, To draft agreements, contracts, pleadings and other legal documents as required
, To assist junior members of the planning team with relation to planning law matters

The Person

, A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with at least 12 months PQE in Planning Law
, Someone who has previously dealt with enforcement notices, S106 agreements and all highway policies
, Someone with previous local authority experience is desirable but not essential
, Someone who comfortable in working independently as well as a team
