Maintenance Team Leader - Electrical & Instrumentation


A leading manufacturing company are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Team Leader to work at their site based just outside of Basingstoke.

This position will have responsibility for installing, repairing, inspecting and overhaul plant and machinery to ensure continuous production.

This function includes planned and preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair of plant and equipment.

You will control the handover and takeover of work from shift to shift and will provide engineering support to the manufacturing operation.

As a Maintenance Team Leader you will be leading a team of engineers and will drive performance by closely working with the front line managers to carry out Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls based engineering tasks and ensure the shift team standards are being met.

In order to be considered for this position, candidates will need to have extensive maintenance experience within a high volume manufacturing or process industry environment.

Previous leadership/management experience within an engineering team and an Electrical/Instrumentation apprenticeship or HNC/HND is also required.

Candidates must have previous experience of within Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation Engineering within the Process industry.

In position will work on a shift pattern that covers days and nights so experience working shift would be preferable.

This role is based in Basingstoke and is commutable from Reading, Andover, Bracknell, Newbury, Southampton, Winchester and other locations across Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey.
