A sizeable and influential IP firm has instructed us on a truly excellent position.

This leading practice currently require the skills of a Patent Analyst within their expert Patent team.

As there is geographical flexibility in terms of which of their UK offices your services are required, we invite UK based Patent Analysts to consider this opportunity.

Integrated within the wider Patent team, an overview of this niche role is to provide research and information to an array of clients as well as colleagues across the business.

Within this you will effectively; conduct IP searches, analyse data, perform regular patent watches, maintain up to date procedures and keep records of all awareness searches conducted.

You'll work closely with the Senior Patent Analyst and represent the department positively and contribute to strategies that enhance processes within this collaborative environment.

You will be an experienced Patent Analyst with relevant and demonstrable experience gained within the IP industry and those with the QPIP qualification will be considered advantageous.

With this level of experience you will possess an understanding of international patent law and documentation and be IP database savvy.

Candidates who are keen to start their career as a Trainee Patent Analyst must be equipped with a STEM degree, notably electronics, mechanical engineering, chemistry or life sciences.

As well as bringing your excellent academic knowledge, that will form the foundation of this brilliant opportunity, it's crucial that your data analysis and IT skills are strong.

You must have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills that allow you to manage your workload seamlessly and confidently interact with colleagues and diverse clients alike.
