Tig Welder

An opportunity for a TIG Welder with valuable knowledge of Mechanical Process Plant to join a specialist business in the Petrochemical Industry.

Our client has already engaged in the delivery of a wide range of high-profile projects and on the back of this they have been recently been awarded another major contract and thus require a TIG Welder to join their team.


The client has been in business for over 25 years and are an approved business in the oil and gas industry, having achieved their U STAMP and BS ISO Welding quality accreditation.

They have worked for a number of international and national customers, supplying a vast range of process plant to the highest of quality, all from their 10,000 sq.

ft premises.


DUTIES INCLUDE FOR THE ROLE OF TIG WELDER:



  • Working with a number of alloy metals to x-ray and u/t standard such as Titanium, Duplex, Inconel, Carbon Steel.

  • Welding jobs to the high standards that are required by the client and the end users of the products.

  • Ensuring that all documentation/weld procedures are correctly filled in and signed off after each operation.

  • Ensure equipment parameters are set to the optimum to fully satisfy weld quality, integrity, and requirements.

  • Fully satisfy production schedules to the correct quality level and within the specified time scale.



KEEN TO SPEAK TO TIG WELDERS WHO HAVE /ARE:



  • Apprentice Trained TIG Welders - weld to x-ray standard.

  • Workshop Based TIG Welders with experience working with pressure vessels /heat exchangers.

  • Passed ASME/ENS Coding's in the past or presently hold.



THE OFFER FOR THE ROLE OF TIG WELDER:



  • Base Salary between £30,000 to £32,000 per annum.

  • Overtime available paid at time and a half.
