Book keeper / Accounts assistant

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Book keeper / Accounts assistant for our clients in Manchester Altrincham area.
Role and Responsibilities:
· Daily bank reconciliations
· Raising sales invoices and maintaining the sales ledger
· Credit Control
· Processing purchase invoices and maintaining the purchase ledger
· Producing weekly payment runs
· Taking accounts up to trail balance
· Responding professionally and promptly to client queries
· Various AdoHoc tasks
Qualification and experience:
· Knowledge of SAGE is a requirement
· Minimum of 2 years bookkeeping experience
· Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Reporting to
· In house management accountant
· The Directors
12 months contract for maternity cover with the possibility to becoming permanent .
Pension scheme contributions.
20 days holiday.
Flexible work arrangements: remote work available ,minimum 2 days per week in the office.
Contract length: 12 months
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
