Senior Manager - Local Authority

A large Local Authority is looking for a Senior Manager who is based within Surrey.

You will join their Adult Social Care management team and be expected to manage and supervise the Team Manager.

This role is a full-time, and permanent position.


Ideally, you will have experience working with adults and will have worked in a managerial position.

This Local Authority is committed to internal training and development and is always looking internally for promotions.

Your responsibilities as the Senior Manager:



  • Manage risk in relation to service delivery ensuring safeguarding issues are addressed

  • Lead, motivate and develop individuals using a coaching approach

  • Work with a range of agencies and partners to develop services in line with government policies

  • Ensure innovative solutions are proposed to maximise service quality, efficiency and continuity



Requirements of you as the Senior Manager:



  • Professional qualification in social care, occupational therapy, or other relevant health qualification

  • Significant experience of working within Adult Services

  • Experience of working within Safeguarding

  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence




Location: Surrey


Salary: up to £70,000
