Our client who is a specialist property law firm and a UK division of a fortune 500 company has instructed us on an outstanding Senior Property Lawyer opportunity.
They are currently recruiting for an experienced Property Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to join the friendly team within their Leeds office.
This is without a doubt a niche and exciting role and should certainly be considered if you are an ambitious Property Legal Executive/Licensed Conveyancer who is seeking a brand new challenge and a chance to take their technical expertise to the next level.
As part of the operations department, using your strong technical and adept analytical skills, the crux of this role is to support by way of leadership and supervision, the business and in particular the Technical Lawyers and Property Re-Mortgage Division in proficiently resolving matters referred to you.
Due to the nature of this stand-alone role, you will make use of your sound judgement, commercial and practical focus to advise on highly complex matters, not only to colleagues but also to the wider business and client lenders, borrowers and external lawyers.
It is imperative that you possess a broad knowledge and experience in areas such as: shared ownership, lease extensions, non-standard restrictions, help to buy, transfers or equity, unregistered properties, non-standard leasehold issues and unusual title defects.
Although this role will be based largely within the Remortgage/Refinance and Separate Representation Division, there is certainly scope to be exposed to all areas of the business so those who also have sale and purchase conveyancing experience should apply.
Your ability to lead, inspire, develop and identify the training needs of each individual within this team is vital here, ensuring that the Technical Lawyers reach their full potential and provide a consistent first rate service that upholds the core values and ethics of this highly successful business.
Technical and analytical skills aside, you must possess exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
This roe would suit someone already working in a fast paced environment, either within private practice or in-house with a lender or building society client.
