A well established and growing international manufacturing company offering a niche product range is seeking an experienced individual to oversee the Logistics and Installations for the business.

To fulfil this position the individual must have experience managing Installations and working with building contractors.

This position will also take responsibility for the export freight team, so if you have knowledge of working with despatch and delivery teams this would be preferred.

Duties
, Installation
o Overall costing and analysis of delivery and install.
o Capacity planning
o Legal and contractual side of projects.
o Be a ‘senior solution provider' and resolve issues with clients/architects etc, on site.
o Able to read and understand plans and can get involved in quoting for projects
o Work with your team members on fitting and installation
o Liaising with customers on schedules
o Quotes for fitting
o Doing site surveys
o Test building - new samples
o Working with customers on bespoke orders
o After sales visits

, Logistics
o Over-seeing the day-to-day running of Despatch, Delivery, Customer Services and Export
o Main point of contact and responsibility for all export freight
o Co-ordinating the daily movement of parts from the UK to suppliers
o Communicating, and ideally mitigating, any potential issues due to freight that would affect lead times
o Assisting in balancing the workloads among the team.
o Using MRP software to enter transport pricing and pulling out relevant reports to assist in the delivery planning and forecasting
o Reviewing procedures across the function and identifying areas of improvement.
o Negotiating on transport and installation costs

Required Experience:
, 2-3 years' experience managing an installation team - familiar in dealing with building contractors
, Experience in a manufacturing environment
, Proven negotiating skills
, Export freight experience ideal
, Experience of working with a Delivery and Despatch Team
, Previous use of MRP/ERP software very useful
, Good geographical awareness
, Excellent MS office skills
